I remember coming across this a few years ago in a magazine, and was fascinated by its design.


It was designed by Ruy
Ohtake, son of Japanese parents, his mother was a painter, and his father an engineer.
Ohtake is known for his unusual architecture.
The Hotel Unique is considered by American Pulitzer Prize winning architecture critic architecture pundit Paul
Goldberger to be one of the seven wonders of the modern world.
