Today we are looking at the fashion of the Oscars 2009. We have a selection of our Five Favourite Finds.
It was not easy this year to find even five gowns that we loved- there were some shockers this year!
It seemed that a lot of the stars were channelling their inner mermaid in fishtail gowns.
Neutral and white tones set the flavour of the day. Marissa Tomei's Origami-sculptured dress was a work of art and must have taken days (if not weeks) of effort to get right.
Evan Rachel Wood's gown was another sculptural gown that was simple & elegant.
Anne Hathaway looked stunning (as always) in an Armani gown.
Diane Lane looked classy and understated in yet another fish tailed gown.
Merryl Streep looked effortless, graceful and age- appropriate in an Alberta Ferretti gown.
